Here is a patriotic lanyard to
attach your office key or
name tag. This is indeed a
handmade item-- I bought
the material, looked high and
low for swivel clips; my
husband measured and cut
the material; my sister-in-law
sewed them. It is a beautiful
lanyard; the photo does not
do it justice. I use mine at
work and also use it for a
pin holder, pinning my
patriotic pins on it, making it
very special to me. (See my
bottlecap pins.) The
lanyards are $4.00 each and
I have about 70 of them.
When the 911 tragedy occurred, my son was already stationed overseas. Like many, I immediately wanted flags and patriotic pins. Stores didn't have them right away, and once they did, they sold out quickly. I turned to the web where I bought material for lanyards and found my unique bottlecap pins which I have not seen anywhere! Things weren't sold one piece at a time, though, so I bought a large roll of lanyard material and packs of 50 pins. Trying to buying swivel clips for the lanyard was one of the hardest internet chores I had. Either they wanted to sell already- made or they wanted to supply pieces to a business by the thousands. But I'm pleased with my patriotic items and have many extras to share. I like them; you will too.

The waving flag
patch is 1 1/4 x 1
inch. The other

inch. The waving

regular patch is

The above three pins are shown as two pins just so you can see what the back looks like but they are
sold individually. The bottle cap pins are 1 1/4 inches and the waving flag is a 1 inch pin. The bottle cap
pins are $2.50 each; the waving flag is $1.50.
