MORE INFORMATION, page 1
Some people have asked for various things that I have needed to go page by page myself to find things
that I know I have but can't be sure where they all are.  Now that the Christmas rush is over, I will use
this page to help customers and myself keep such a list.

An idea given to me from a customer: Towels make a
great wedding gift and more than once I've had a
mother & daughter combine their presents to a bride by a gift of 12 hanging towels ($36 for 12 singles).
These towels make a unique present.  Suggestions: Jan-holiday/winter towel; Feb-misc/heart towel and
hearts also found with animals, flowers, and other misc; Mar-Easter or holiday/various-Mardi Gras;
April-flower or fruit; May-flower, fruit, patriotic, or summer pasttime (bear with patriotic kite); June-misc
towel such as seashells, lighthouse, cabin, animal/fishing, etc for vacations; July-patriotic (see below),
animal-bear, animal birdhouses, miscellaneous section; August-apples/fruit, cows for State Fair;
Sept-holiday/fall; Oct-holiday/halloween; Nov-holiday/Thanksgiving; and Dec-holiday/Christmas or
holiday/various-Hanukkah.  As part of the set, the misc/kitchen canisters or groceries (
MIGRC001,
MIJEL001, MIKIT001, MIMIS003) or sewing (MISEW001 & 002 and more) also fit well for any
month.  The
ANBER024 is a wash day bear. ANBER028 has many cooking words listed and there is a
baking rabbit on the animal/rabbit page as
ANRAB002.
Not only for weddings, but a
new home or new apartment gift is perfect time for a gift of a towel with a
saying of Home Sweet Home, Bless our home, Welcome, or a similar wording.

The Christmas rush starts every year at the end of Sept/beginning of Oct.  In the Christmas 2001 season,
I had very little business.  My site was nothing like it is now, and I really knew little about websites.  It
was totally different by the
Christmas 2002 season when the popular towels were: roosters, apples,
lighthouses, bears (real, such as
ANBNT002 [by the way, BNT stands for "bear, not teddy"]),
butterflies, ladybugs, daisies, roses, sunflowers, red chili peppers, strawberries, Christmas, and Fall
leaves.  The
FRBLU001, FRFRU006, and FRHER002 were very, very popular; people ordered them
and returned to order more.
Christmas 2003 season showed the popularity again of roosters, apples, and the flowers of daisies,
roses & sunflowers.  The gardening and herb towels were very popular along with the butterflies,
dragonflies and birdhouses.  The grapes and olive towels were in demand.  Christmas, Fall and yes,
Easter and Halloween were really popular.  I sold more Easter towels this Christmas season than at
Eastertime.  Halloween towels were popular from Sept through Dec. The towels that especially stood out
were
FLROS002, FLMIS005, FLTUL002, FLTUL004, MIGBA001 and MITWN001.  The two most
popular that kept me busy was the Rose 2 and the Town.  I had had 13 ros2 and 6 twn1 done in the
beginning of the season and all those sold and many more were crocheted.  The town towel was new in
2003.  It's interesting to see the changes from year to year.
Christmas 2004 season sold many, many flowers, especially tulips (in Flowers/Various).  For the
second year I sold more Halloween and Easter towels during this Christmas season (Oct-Dec) than I did
during the rest of the year.  Teddy bear towels were still popular but I think Cat towels were the biggest
seller.  I don't think there were outstanding individual towels that sold; just general categories.  This site is
getting big and there's so much to view.
12/5/08 - I just realized I never had this page linked to my site so no one ever saw this page.  The info is
good though and I hope it helps some.  Again this Christmas, many bought groups of seasonal towels and
I sold many Easter, Patriotic, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all in the Christmas orders.  I sold
a number of
Hanukkah towels along with other holidays.  This year a wide assortment were popular
including the usual Teddy bears,
BNT (bear not teddy) and other woodsy towels such as Moose and
Fishing, Butterflies, Cows, Cats, All flowers, Apples, etc.
